Study links aggressive behavior, social rejection, narcissism

(The Daily Aztec) (U-WIRE) SAN DIEGO -- A new study finds that narcissistic people who experience social rejection display more signs of aggression than people who don't have such inflated egos.

Narcissism is the excessive love or admiration for oneself.

San Diego State University psychology professor Jean Twenge co-authored the study along with University of Georgia psychology professor W. Keith Campbell. Their findings may help shed light on to why there are school shootings.

They conducted four studies. In each one, the subjects were undergraduate college students. ...
