Jordyn Jackson might be on fire on the football field, but off
the field, he is learning how to put out fires.
Jackson, a running back for Columbia River, is enjoying two parts
of his junior year: running the football for the Chieftains and training
to be a firefighter, just like his dad.
The Chieftains are 5-0 heading into tonight's clash against Camas,
another undefeated team in the Class 3A Greater St. Helens League.
If River is to remain unbeaten, chances are, Jackson will have
a lot to do with it. So far, Jackson has rushed for 814 yards and
