Fed: GDP likely to slip further because of drought: Truss
Agriculture Minister WARREN TRUSS says Australia's economic growth
rate may slip further
if the drought fails to break soon.
Mr TRUSS says if the dry conditions that have plagued most of Australia
continue there's
little doubt the nation's growth figures will slump.
The Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics has
warned GDP will be
cut by at least 0.5 per cent this financial year because of the drought.
