Friday, September 27, 2002 -- A neat swap has taken place between
Israel's two leading museums of art. The Israel Museum has loaned
some 50 works from its collection to the Tel Aviv Museum's new Picasso
show. The TAMA, in turn, has loaned 25 works by Marc Chagall to the
Israel Museum's most recent show, Chagall in Israel.
Curator Stephanie Rachum has taken its title more than literally.
The exhibition records every Chagallian connection with the Holy Land,
