LAGOS, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- The Nigerian government has threatened to resort
to defensive war against Cameroon over the disputed Bakassi Peninsular
if necessary, local media reported Thursday.
Although the Nigerian government is not interested in going to war
with Cameroon over Bakassi Peninsular, it is prepared for war if it is
forced to do so, Information Minister Jerry Gana Wednesday was quoted as
