YAOUNDE, Nov. 5 (IPS) -- Cameroon's President Paul Biya will get
the red carpet treatment in New Zealand this week when he takes his
place for the first time at the Commonwealth Heads of Government
Meeting.
At home, however, the acceptance of Biya's democratic
credentials by a Commonwealth now stressing good governance as a
criteria for membership is seen by the opposition as a cruel joke.
