Return of the Beetles

The Beetles are back. No, I'm not talking about Paul, George and Ringo, but the giant German automotive manufacturer Volkswagen, which, at the recent Tokyo Motor Show, presented a prototype of a new VW Beetle which should go into mass production before the millennium.
VW is following in the footsteps of the British marque, Rover, which has resurrected those classics of the past, the Mini and the MG.
