Ararat Insurance Company's new managing director will begintenure next week

ARARAT Insurance Company's new managing director, Uri Zafrir, will begin his tenure next week, a company spokesman said yesterday.

Zafrir, currently Clal Insurance deputy marketing manager, will take over from Avi Balaban on a temporary basis.

Ararat chairman Rimon Ben-Shaul has started to look for an external candidate to take over from Balaban, who announced his resignation earlier this week and will end his tenure on January 1.

Balaban said he resigned to get involved in private business.
