Columbia tennis rips St. Johns in team's first dual meet

(Columbia Daily Spectator) (U-WIRE) NEW YORK -- Coming off of a strong fall season, the men's tennis team seems unstoppable. Saint Johns University was its latest victim.

The Lions manhandled the Red Storm last Friday, winning by a score of 7-0. The win puts the Lions in

good standing before they begin Ivy League play on March 28.

The meet was the first "dual-match" for the team this season, consisting of six singles matches, counting

for one point each, as well as one point awarded to the team winning the best of three doubles matches.
