Christian radio station may 'educate, edify, and evangelize' in Tuscaloosa

(The Crimson White) (U-WIRE) TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- For those in the Tuscaloosa
area who want to learn more about the Bible even when they aren't
reading it, a new option may soon arrive. Chicago's Moody Bible Institute
recently received approval for the construction of a 100,000-watt
radio station in the Tuscaloosa area. If constructed, the new station
will be located at 88.9 FM, operate on a nonprofit basis and have
the call letters WMFT. "MFT" stands for "Moody For Tuscaloosa."
