AFL: Pavlich likely to stay at Fremantle

MELBOURNE, July 19 AAP - Fremantle believes it has an 80 per cent
chance of retaining
soon-to-be out-of-contract star Matthew Pavlich after this week presenting
him with a
new three-year contract worth about $1.1 million.
Speculation that the 20-year-old had been offered $500,000 a year
to remain in Western
Australia has been denied by Fremantle chief executive Cameron Schwab.
The availability of the key defender has interested most rival
clubs and Pavlich's
