DURBAN, South Africa, July 9 (Xinhua) -- South African President
Thabo Mbeki expressed here Tuesday that African leaders will honor the
commitments as the leaders made and agreed to establish the African Union
(AU).
Mbeki, who is also the first Chairman of the just-launched AU, said
that Africa "is taking the giant step forward" in building a peace, strong
