Growing up in Tel Aviv, Shuki Levy found himself on top of Masada in the obligatory high-school trip. "When I actually saw the site and realized that real people lived there, it made a great lasting impression on me."
Levy, now a millionaire composer making his home in Los Angeles, transformed his fascination with Masada into a musical. The disc of Masada: The Musical Saga was released here this month.
