Over 100,000 Afghan Refugees Return From Pakistan, XINHUA

KABUL, March 28 (Xinhua) -- Over 100,000 Afghan refugees have returned
from Pakistan since the start of the repatriation program jointly
launched
by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Afghanistan
and Pakistan on March 1, a UNHCR press release said Thursday.
With so many people repatriated in less than a month, the initial
target of the program to repatriate 400,000 refugees from Pakistan
in 2002
is expected to be surpassed.
On Wednesday alone, 10,025 Afghan refugees from 1,880 families turned
up in 645 vehicles to register at the Takhtaibaig ...
