RL: Beattie hit with grade two careless high tackle

Sharks prop CHRIS BEATTIE has been charged with a grade two careless high tackle by the National Rugby League judiciary following Saturday's spiteful game against Melbourne.

BEATTIE could face three weeks on the sideline if found guilty of the charge, his fifth in the past two years and second for a careless high tackle.

Melbourne forward DANNY WILLIAMS has been charged with the same offence, but will only be suspended for one week if found guilty due to his clean record.
