NSW: NSW Liberal Party seeks funds for new computer

SYDNEY, March 24 AAP - The NSW Liberal Party may have trouble recruiting members but that's because its computer systems were so ancient that scout groups had better technology.

Members gathered at this weekend's Liberal Party convention were today urged to accept a $15 increase, or "28.8 cents a day", in membership fees for a $150, 000 IT upgrade.

Senior Liberal officials said the overhaul of the database was needed in time for the 2003 March state ...
