Former Uruguay international Fonseca quits River Plate and heads home

Uruguayan striker Daniel Fonseca walked out on Buenos Aires club River
Plate on Tuesday after describing team coach Ramon Diaz as "arrogant."
Fonseca, formerly with Italian giants Juventus and AS Roma, only arrived
at River on Jan. 13 and had played just 185 minutes of soccer for
the side, which currently leads the Argentine league.
After discussions with the club's directors over the weekend, both
parties agreed that the 32-year-old should rescind his six month contract,
