Fed: Aust says small states matter in OECD tax evasion crackdown
CANBERRA, March 1 AAP - Australia supported a process that ensured
the concerns of
small nations were considered in a global tax avoidance crackdown,
Foreign Minister Alexander
Downer said today.
Several small Commonwealth states, many of them Pacific Island
nations, have expressed
concerns about the implementation of the OECD's Harmful Tax Initiative,
