ASIA: "Groundbreaking" people smuggling meeting closes

NUSA DUA, Indonesia, Feb 28 AAP - Indonesia and Australia today
closed the world's
first meeting on people smuggling, declaring it "groundbreaking" and
promising to hold
another in 12 months.
"This conference, the first of its kind, has shown a strong international
will to stop
people smuggling and trafficking in persons," Foreign Minister Alexander
