Growing worry over low level of Lake Kinneret

Concern is growing over the relatively low level of water in Lake Kinneret which has risen less than 20 centimeters since the start of winter.
The rainfall so far has been insufficient in quantity and duration in the North to make much impact. According to experts, the bulk of the precipitation has been soaked up by the earth, and only a trickle has found its way into the lake.
