Count Bernadotte remembered in memorial service

Count Sigvard Bernadotte, who wanted to die as a prince, instead was
remembered as an artist on Friday during a funeral attended by the
Swedish royal family, Queen Margrethe of Denmark and her husband Prince
Henrik.
Hundreds attended the funeral in the brick Engelbrekts Lutheran church
in Stockholm where Bernadotte and his third wife, Marianne Lindberg,
often attended service.
Bernadotte, who died Feb. 4 at age 94, was the second son of the former
King Gustaf VI Adolf, and an uncle of the present King Carl XVI Gustaf.
