WOMAN SENTENCED FOR KILLING DAUGHTER

HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) Karen Lee Huster, convicted of killing her
9-year-old daughter, was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison by
a Washington County judge Tuesday.
Last week, the same judge determined Huster was neither insane
nor emotionally disturbed when she murdered her daughter, Elisabeth.
Judge Alan Bonebrake found Huster guilty of murder and dismissed
defense claims that Huster suffered from delusions, saying they "appeared
to be very self-serving."
In court Tuesday, Huster's ex-husband, Michael Huster, said he
