I met Subhas Chandra Bose in the Calcutta Presidency College in 1917.
We had both philosophy as one of the subjects for B.A. examination and
as such I had an opportunity to be familiar with him both in the classroom
and particularly in the seminar on philosophy. He was born with a silver
spoon in his mouth, being the son of Rai Bahadur Janaki Nath Bose, Government
