Fed: Australia joins international wine agreement

ADELAIDE, Dec 21 AAP - Australia has officially joined an international wine agreement
to reduce trade barriers.

Australia signed the New World Wine Producer's mutual acceptance agreement in Canada
earlier this week.

The agreement, to ensure more liberal international wine commerce laws and reduce trade
barriers, had previously been signed by the United States, Canada, Chile and New Zealand.
