NSW: Don't splurge and avoid the Xmas "hard sell": Fair Trading
The New South Wales fair trading department has warned Christmas shoppers to resist
splurging on credit cards, and to avoid hard sell tactics when buying gifts.
Launching Consumer Week, Fair Trading Minister JOHN AQUILINA said high-pressure salespeople
are out in force.
He particularly warned of door-to-door salespeople and told young people to be careful
