Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (Rajuk) filed a case with the Chief
Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court, Dhaka yesterday against the filling
up of a portion of the Gulshan-Baridhara Lake by a private party.
Accepting the case, Metropolitan Magistrate Emdadul Haq ordered the
concerned authority to investigate into the matter and submit a report
before the Court.
One Khadiza Begum had recently got a decree from the high court and
started filling up a portion of the lake at Road No. 29 Gulshan-1, claiming
