Friday, November 23, 2001 -- Bulldozers of the Merom Ha'Galil regional council demolished 10 homes in an illegal Jewish settlement on the slopes of Mount Meron in the Galilee yesterday morning in compliance with court orders.

A large force of police went to the scene to guard the municipality workers in the event of opposition from residents of the community, Kadita.
