Nigerian President Orders Troops on Alert to Foreign Invasion, XINHUA

LAGOS, November 23 (Xinhua) -- Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has
directed soldiers at the border area of southern Cross River State not
to concede an inch of "our territorial land and water to any nation" as
the country is still contesting the ownership of Bakassi Peninsula with
Cameroon.
Obasanjo gave the charge on Thursday when he inspected the Joint Task
Force Brigade Group at Ikang Akpubuyo bordering Cameroon, official Daily
