Indonesia Not to Sever Diplomatic Ties With U.S.: Ministers, XINHUA

JAKARTA, October 10 (Xinhua) -- The Indonesian government had no intention
of severing diplomatic ties with the United States, as demanded by some
Muslim organizations.
Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Susilo
Bambang Yudhoyono Wednesday said the call for Indonesia to sever diplomatic
ties with the U.S. over the latter's attack on Afghanistan is considered
a controversy which should not be met with an emotional response.
