Fed: Report urges acceleration for gifted students

CANBERRA, Oct 2 AAP - Gifted children should be better identified in the schools system
and given accelerated learning, a Senate inquiry recommended today.

The inquiry's report urged education ministers to include high achievement targets
for gifted children, 40 per cent of whom are said to drop out of school early.
