An unexpected statistic, considering the stereotype that Hollywood propagates and many Americans buy into -- turbaned, sneaky Middle Eastern terrorists; submissive, homebound women swathed from head to toe in dark cloth.

The stereotype was further perpetuated after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, now that evidence strongly points to the infamous Osama bin Laden, who is a Muslim.
