SYLHET, Sept 23: The campaign for the upcoming general election is
gaining momentum here with the major political parties making allout efforts
to woo the voters.
Side by side with holding election rallies, the parties this time have
attached special importance to door-to-door campaign by their nominees
to reach the electorate. While meeting the voters, either at the rallies
or at their houses, the candidates of major parties have been projecting
their success stories and making fresh pledges pointing out the weaknesses
of rival parties.
