Vic: Unions threaten boycott of Air New Zealand

MELBOURNE, Sept 17 AAP - Unions today said they were prepared to do whatever it took
to secure the $500 million entitlements of Ansett's 16,000 workers.

Hundreds of Ansett workers marched on Air New Zealand terminals around the country
at noon today, threatening to "inconvenience" aircraft if Air New Zealand failed to acknowledge
responsibilities to Ansett workers.

On Friday, Air New Zealand washed its hands of obligations to the Ansett workforce,
telling the Australian Industrial Relations Commission ...
