NSW:John Paul Young pays tribute to fellow musician,friend Mulry

SYDNEY, Sept 1 AAP - Seventies pop star John Paul Young said he was devastated by the
death of his friend and fellow musician Ted Mulry, who died early today of cancer.

"I am devastated. He was a friend of mine, a great friend," Young said.

"I have known him a long time.

"I have known him since he started in the business."

A spokesman for Mulry's family said he died at Sydney's Greenwich Hospital about 6am
(AEST) from complications related to cancer.
