DHAKA, March 29 (Xinhua) -- Members belonging to Ershad faction in Jatiya
Party, an important member of the four-party opposition alliance, Thursday
entered the house, ending long boycott of the parliament.
This faction along with other parties of mainstream opposition had
been staying away from the house since the 14th session of the parliament
on August 29, 1999. The JP (Ershad) members apparently led by Raushan Ershad,
wife of the former President Ershad, came to the house this morning, fulfilling
their decision to join the 22nd session of the parliament.
