Housing Fund, an innovative project of the present government for
sheltering the homeless people, will construct five two-block buildings
at Badda and Dakkhin Khan here in near future to provide housing to the
women workers of garment factories.A proposal to this effect has a already
been approved by the Trustee Board of Housing Fund empowering BRAC, a leading
NGO of the country, to construct the hostel buildings at a total cost of
Taka 14.14 crore, fund's manager Mohammad Shahjahan told BSS here yesterday.
This step has been undertaken as per personal wish ...
