Ferry service between Aricha and Natakhola is facing serious
disruption as one of the two ferry ghats (terminals) at Natakhola in Pabna
district were washed away by strong current of the river Jamuna a few days
back.
Sources in the Bangladesh Inland Water Transport Authority (BIWTA)
feared that the Jamuna would devour the remaining ferry ghat if preventive
steps were not taken immediately.
