Katharine Graham, the longtime publisher of The Washington Post, died
today in Boise, Idaho. She was 84 years old. She died of complications
from head injuries following a fall. Under Graham's leadership, The
Washington Post became a respected national newspaper, and The Post
Company became a media empire. NPR's Susan Stamberg reports.
