TEHRAN, September 18 (Xinhua) -- The United Nations High Commissioner for
Refugees (UNHCR) Sadako Ogata arrived in Iran on Monday through the border
city of Taibad in the northeastern Khorasan Province, the official Islamic
Republic News Agency reported.
Ogata was welcomed at a border point by the head of the UNHCR office
in Iran and a number of Iranian officials.
