Zambian government has issued five exploration licenses for diamonds, Times
of Zambia reported Monday.

The areas where the exploration is underway for diamonds include
Solwezi, Mufumbwe, Mumbwa, serenje and Luanshya in the north of the country.

Documentation on diamond exploration in the country so far indicates
that a lot of progress has been made and exploration work has been intensified.
