South Korean President Kim Dae-jung met here Monday morning with the delegation
of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) attending the inter-Korean
ministerial meeting.

Kim's meeting with the five-member DPRK delegation came just an hour
after the inter-Korean ministerial meeting agreed to hold a second round
of ministerial talks in Pyongyang August 29-31.

The delegation reportedly delivered a message from DPRK leader Kim
Jong Il to the South Korean president.
