NSW: Wahid a man of peace, says spokesman

SYDNEY, July 24 AAP - Former Indonesian president Abdurrahman Wahid was a man of peace
trying to contain his devoted followers, his spokesman said today.

Speaking in Sydney as part of a NSW Centenary of Federation Committee lecture series,
Wimar Witoelar said Mr Wahid would continue to fight for human rights and against corruption
at the request of the Indonesian people.
