Under strength Italian squad arrives in South Africa



JOHANNESBURG, June 24 (AFP) - An under-strength Italian rugby squad of 32
arrived in South Africa on Sunday for a one-off Test against the Springboks in
the east coast city of Port Elizabeth on Saturday.

Italian coach Brad Johnstone said 27 players withdrew from the seven-match
tour of Namibia, South Africa, Uruguay and Argentina. The Italians beat Namibia
49-24 on Saturday.
