BEIJING, June 14 (Xinhua) -- Li Peng, chairman of the Standing Committee
of the National People's Congress, met with Salomon Nguema Owono, president
of the House of Representatives of the People of Equatorial Guinea here
Thursday afternoon.
Li said that China and Equatorial Guinea have supported each other and
maintained close contact in important international arenas since the two
countries forged diplomatic ties over 30 years ago.
