Differences Between Govt Not Affect Commercial Business: Badawi, XINHUA

KUALA LUMPUR, June 7 (Xinhua)-- Differences between the Malaysian and United
States governments on many issues will not affect the investment sentiment
among American businessmen, a Malaysian leader said Thursday.
"It's up to the U.S. investors. So far, we have had differences with
the U.S. government on many issues, but that has not in many years affected
the investment sentiment among U.S. businessmen," Deputy Prime Minister
Abdullah Ahmad Badawi told reporters after opening the Industry and Trade
fair Malaysia (ITM 2001) here.
