TEHRAN, June 7 (Xinhua) -- With only one day to go before Iran's closely
watched presidential elections, both candidates and voters are gearing
themselves up for Friday's polls. The race, which pits the incumbent President
Mohammad Khatami against nine other conservative rivals, is seen as a "referendum"
