NSW: Warrant officer faces court martial

A court martial in New South Wales has heard an army officer told members of his unit
to bash soldiers accused of theft, and bring them kicking, bruised and bleeding to his
office.

Warrant Officer CRAIG MOFFAT has pleaded not guilty to four charges of behaving in
a manner likely to prejudice the discipline of company members.

He's facing a court martial at Sydney's Green Island defence force facility.

MOFFAT was Sergeant Major of A Company, 3 Battalion Royal Australian Regiment, at Sydney's
