May 8, 2001 Statement of the Honorable Gil Coronado Director, Selective Service System House Subcommittee on Appropriations for VA, HUD, and Independent Agencies I appreciate the opportunity to appear before the Subcommittee today to present our budget proposal for Fiscal Year 2002 on my seventh and final visit with you as Director of Selective Service. The President' s Budget Request for FY 2002 proposes funding the Selective Service System at $25,003,000.
