Friday, May 11, 2001 -- With a spot in the Final Four on the line, Maccabi Ramat Gan defeated visiting Hapoel Jerusalem 83-82 in a last-second victory last night.
The win improves Maccabi's record to 17-10, which assures them fourth place after Maccabi Haifa's shocking 89-69 loss to Rishon Lezion. Haifa, at 16-11, plays Ramat Gan in the last game of the season.
