TAS: Miracle of new life on remote Heard Island

HOBART, March 29 AAP - A tiny rise in sea temperature has produced an extraordinary
explosion of animal and plant life on Australia's sub-Antarctic Heard Island.

Probably nowhere else in the world can the effects of warming be seen so dramatically,
according to Australian scientists who returned from the island today.
